Plain terms for using this website, bringing items in for evaluation and requesting a home appointment.
Home appointments and event visits carry no obligation
Whether you request a home appointment or walk into one of our events, you are never required to accept an offer, and you may decline every item.
The value guide is educational, not an appraisal
The instant value guide explains what determines the value of an item. It is not an offer, a valuation or an appraisal, and no price can be confirmed until the item has been examined in person.
Offers are based on live market conditions
Gold, silver and platinum are priced against the market running at the time of your visit. Collector items are priced on date, mint, grade, condition and current demand. Offers are valid for the day they are made.
Your items stay yours until you agree
Nothing changes hands until you accept an offer. Items are tested in front of you, and you are welcome to take your property and leave at any point in the process.
Payment
Accepted offers are paid the same day by certified Chase Bank check, or by wire for larger settlements. Identification is required for every precious-metals purchase, and we follow all applicable state and federal reporting rules.
Accuracy of what you tell us
Please describe your items accurately. Where ownership or authenticity is in question, we may decline a purchase. We do not knowingly buy stolen property or items subject to a legal dispute.
